Welcome to my Web site!Hello my name is Suneil Singh Malhotra and I was born in Denver, CO, went to middle and high school in Potomac, MD, did my BS at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and currently reside in Houston, TX. My family is all over the place right now: My little brother, Davaish, is in Lewisburg, PA pursuing his BA in Political Science with a minor in History at Bucknell University; my Mother is in Ona, WV with Nani. . .Nani is like the glue that helps keep our family together, and made me who I am today, so I would venture to say she's probably the busiest of us all; my Aunt and two cousin brothers, Abhi and Manu, (both of whom I consider little brothers) are still in Potomac, where she is a Professor at GWU in Epidemiology and they are both grueling through high school at St. Andrew's and St. John's High school, respectively (where they just graduated from); my father, last but definitely not the least, is in NJ running a granite business. Why am I in Houston? I am getting my PhD at UT-MD Anderson Cancer Center, pursuing my doctorate in Human and Molecular Genetics in the Experimental Radiation Oncology Department. Want to know more about what I do, click me! So who is Suneil, besides this blurb I just delved into. . .I'm contemplative and at the same time spontaneous and impetuous. I'm a perfectionist when it comes to my work, and demand the same of others. I won't settle for 2nd best, and if I have to, it thoroughly vexes me. I tend to obsess over certain things, whether it's something at work, some flip comment someone said to me, or some random incident (like driving by a dead animal), which throws me into random ruminations that existentially stretch beyond my philosophical realm. I've been accused of being a metrosexual, but in reality, I like keeping myself and surroundings clean and in order (the exception being my desk at MDACC).
